Specifically, we will distill five rules for innovation on large, high-risk projects, providing managers with guidance on how to modify plans and processes when opportunities arise or conditions change. Our findings are based on more than a decade of research on large-scale projects. (See About the research.) Projects we studied include: A high-speed rail line running 100 kilometers from London to the Channel Tunnel, costing £100 million (approximately $100 million at today's exchange rates). Heathrow Terminal (2016), including new airport terminal, hotel, car park, metro line and air traffic control tower, cost 100 million pounds. The infrastructure for the 2002 London Olympics (2016) cost 100 million pounds. (launched in 2017 and planned to open in 2017) is a 100-kilometer.
Railway across London with a budget of 100 million pounds, including 100 kilometers of new railway tunnels, 16 new stations and 2 upgraded stations.
